Chatsworth, Ga., April 16, 2025 – First National Community Bank (FNCB), a wholly owned subsidiary of First Chatsworth Bankshares, Inc., is pleased to announce the promotion of Christina Smith to the role of Assistant Vice President and Consumer Lender. In this new role, Christina will be filling the position vacated by Julia Baggett, who retired last month after 43 years of dedicated service to the bank.
Christina has been with First National Community Bank since August 2014 and has steadily progressed through various roles, demonstrating her exceptional skills and commitment to the bank’s success. She most recently has served as a Credit Analyst, consistently exceeding production goals and helping refine the bank’s underwriting process. Christina also served as an Administrative Assistant and in several other key roles, including Switchboard Operator and Bookkeeper, where she gained invaluable experience in customer service and financial operations.

A graduate of Bryan College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Christina has consistently demonstrated her dedication to professional development. She is currently enrolled in the Georgia Bankers Association-sponsored Georgia Banking School at The University of Georgia and will graduate in May 2025. Additionally, Christina is actively involved in her community, serving on the Young Professionals Board with the Murray County Chamber of Commerce and participating in the Murray County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Program for 2024.
